I was talking to my counselor last night. She is helping through this whole process. I really like her a lot. She is a great counselor and she is also a christian. It really helps me.
She said that we should name the baby even though we lost it and don’t know the sex. It can help with the healing process and make the baby more real. I was not sure if we should or not because I didn’t want to say “HE” if the baby was a “SHE”. She eased my mind about it. I talked to my hubby and we decided on a name we both like that is unisex and also meaningful.
So let me introduce you to our sweet little one Brasen Horns. It means God’s Gift

I love the song “Glory baby”. I listen to it quite a bit. There are words in it that I am still having a hard time accepting but it still takes the sting away for a while.

We recently lost a pregnancy at 9 weeks… It's hard, and no one talks about their losses, so you feel alone. Just know, you aren't alone!

I lost two babies – one at 8 weeks and one at 12. I know it isn't the same as yours but I still feel the pain sometimes. It is etched in my memories. Your baby is with you always. Visiting from Finding New Friends blog hop.
Thanks so much for posting such a personal and difficult thing. I actually just lost a pregnancy at about 6 weeks as well. As a matter of fact, I'm 1 day post-op from my D&C. I'm so very sorry for your loss. Know that my heart is certainly with you.
