We did check out all the pools:
but after being spoiled at the spa we decided to settle in over at East pool and Sonora Splash pool which has two water slides and a zero entrance pool for all the little ones.
We got a cabana, SOOOOO worth it!

There is a fan, a fridge and all the water and ice cream you can eat! The couch is comfortable and for me I like being out of the sun. There is a waiter/waitress who can get anything you want from the pool side grill and bar. If you need a break from swimming and just want to relax there is a TV in there and a robe to cuddle in for a nice afternoon nap.
There is a bubble station and a place for kids to play in the sand:
There is also 4 Restaurants, one Lounge, a pool side grill and, of course, room service. We topped the day off with going to La Hacienda restaurant.
Julio was our waiter and he was absolutely awesome! The food… well there really isn’t really any good words to describe the taste. It melts in your mouth. We each had an appetizer, drinks, dinner and dessert. We took the recommendations of Julio on everything. It was delicious!
The prices range in the restaurant from $10 up to $36 per meal/appetizer. I think it was well worth the price! One of the most fun experences at La Hacieda was the mexican version of Bailey’s irish cream (they use Tequila instead).
They lit it on fire to make it!
We went to bed that night with full tummy’s and smiles on our faces.
We were sad to leave the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Resort but got one last harrah at LV bistro where we were treated to a wonderful Buffet. Kids under 10 are free and $20 for adults. There is so much food to choose from that you could go back 10 times and never repeat what you had before.
With all the activites we packed into these two days you might wonder if there is more or if we did it all! We didn’t even scratch the surface. There is a beautiful golf course, 7 tennis courts, techno waterslide with fog, disco lights and music and much more more.
They have many packages and special offers to choose from that will cover everyone one from the youngest child to the grown up who is still a kid at heart make sure you check them out!
Next time you are looking for a vacation or even a Staycation The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess resort is one of the best around.
