Staying at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Resort was a wonderful experience I would recommend it to everyone looking for a place to stay. I got to enjoy a stay there a few weeks ago and I don’t think I can ever go back to a “regular” hotel again. We were spoiled and I loved every second of it. Let me share with you my weekend and you decide for yourself. I got to do stay at the hotel because of East Valley Mom guide.
From the minute we got there we were spoiled. There is valet parking and the bellhops walk you straight to the desk. My son was going to Billy Bob’s Clubhouse, at the check in desk they had this waiting for him:
He was so excited about this AND he got to keep it. It is actually motivating him to learn to swim so that he can use it on his own.
They then DROVE us to our room. My son was so happy that he got to ride in a golf cart to our hotel room:
The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is on 60,000 amazedly manicured acres to explore. We walked everywhere but they have drivers all over the place that you can use to get from your room to where ever you are going. I recommend walking. There is so much to see and you will not get to enjoy it when you ride everywhere.
We got a Casita which was gorgeous in itself. They are about 700 square feet with two double beds, a couch, wet bar with a refrigerator, awesome balcony and a bathroom that I think is the size of my bedroom at home:
With fluffy pillows and big comforters our son just melted into his bed:

then he discovered the bathtub, which is big enough to swim laps in
It was almost impossible to get him out of the tub once he got in there:

We were greeted with the itinerary of all the activities going on all day each day. You could pick and choose everything you wanted to do. I couldn’t imagine what the weekend would bring but with just feeling spoiled with checking in and our room I couldn’t wait to see what was next… Click here for part 2 and here for part 3
