PARTY TIME!! A few days ago I mentioned I wanted find a fun and creative way to celebrate my son learning to swim!
If you want to read that post click here (hint there is a pinterest party contest on that post).
My 4 year old LOVED the idea of a pool party and wanted to help pick out stuff to decorate with me. At Walmart we went to the pool toy section and had a blast figuring out what to buy:

There was SO much to pick from we just kept running up and down the rows trying to eliminate what we didn’t need. That is NOT an easy feat with a 4 year old. OK I have to admit we went a little over board and I can’t fully blame it on the 4 year old!:
My son reminded me that we still need to get the pizza and ice cream.
3 Tombstone pizzas later (do you know they now have a choice of garlic bread for a crust! YUM!!), we went on to find ice cream.I hear “mommy please let me pick”
Nestle Drumsticks are my all time favorite ice cream cone from a store! Not sure what they put in them but I LOVE them, so I kind of guided him towards those
.
.There are a lot more flavors than I thought! My son decided on getting ones with sprinkles instead of ones with nuts I didn’t even that kind existed! Is it just me or have I been living under a rock about these different flavors?
NOW the cart looks better!:
After we got drinks we bought it all and came home to get those creative juices flowing.
My son went to town decorating (with a little help from mommy):
I think we did pretty good:
Pool party time!
We packed up everything and met at a friend’s house.
Trying to set up everything with 5 hungry kids and Tombstone pizza is quite the adventure, but it got done!
Best Pizza face EVER!
So once the kids filled their tanks they went in the pool and did not come out
that is until I said that magic word…ICE CREAM!!
The Nestle drumsticks were just what they needed after swimming, blowing bubbles
and playing hide and seek:
All us mom’s were commenting on how quiet it became all of a sudden with ice cream in hand:
in 110 degrees it melts fast:
but with happy kids and satisfied tummies it is worth the mess! I can’t wait to do it again!
So what would you do with Tombstone pizza’s and Nestle Drumsticks at your house! #GrabSummerFun and share with me what you did. I would love to hear all the creative stuff you all come up with!
To see more pictures of my shop and party stop by my google plus story there was a whole lot more fun in there!

Love Tombstone pizza and Nestle Drumsticks. I just went shopping to day for the very same thing. Looks like the kids had a great time. Nothing better than pool/sprinkler time in the summer topped off with a little pizza and ice cream.
