To my little man,
You are growing up way too fast! I can hardly stand it! How can you be starting kindergarden this year? I feel like it was just yesterday that you was born!
How do mom’s do this? I just want you to stay home with me. We have had our own little world since the day you were born and I don’t want that to change. You and I have always been together. You are mommy’s best little man.
You have always been able to make me laugh:
you are my little goof ball and fun all wrapped into one

You have loved your cars since the day you were born:

and always had the best heart (you have even impressed strangers with your personality).
Now I have to send you to school and I can’t protect you from everything anymore, but my sweet little man know I am always here for you. I always will love you! You are THE best son a mom could ever ask for. God blessed us when he gave us you. So go to school and have fun. I am here waiting for you and loving you.
Love mommy!

I completely understand. My boys are growing so fast and it makes me sad sometimes. I just wish I could always protect them but I know it is my job to help them grow up so I have to let go.

Aww, what a cutie. I know how you feel, my daughter started nursery school a couple days a week for only a couple hours at a time and I still cried. Probably going to cry again this year when she starts back!!

Aww so sweet
I was just talking to my fiancee yesterday about how 2 years from now we’ll be getting ready to send our son to kindergarten & even that had me freaking out- I can’t imagine when the time actually comes!

It has been two weeks! I still don’t like it. I was secretly hoping they would say he was not ready and I could take him back home with me!

Awe, man. This is too much for me. My daughter is going off to high school and as much as I want her out of my line of vision because she is killing me with these sunflower seeds, I don’t want her to get any more lithe, tall, more beautiful, independent, resourceful….and closer to grown. I’m hugging her back today harder than yesterday. I spend so much time at their schools [have a 8 year old boy too] but high school is different. sigh. (entered the french toast giveaway)
