Summer is coming to a close. At least here in Arizona for kids it is. Yes, it is still over 100 here and probably will be for a few more months, but school has started or will be in the next week or so. It is hard to get back in the school routine (well for me it is all new since my son is about to start kindergarden). I know for us it will take a few weeks to get this whole school thing down which means there will be a few pizza runs I am sure.
I can eat very few pizza’s because of my problems I have with onions but my local Papa Murphy’s has a sauce I can eat so we go there often! I actually like them better than most other places because they are not nearly as greasy.
Papa Murphy’s wants to lighten at least one meal for you during this busy time. You can win one large pizza and a Pizza peel.
If you don’t know about Papa Murphys I will tell you a little about them….
You can call ahead or get there and order a pizza. They will make it fresh in front of you. Then they wrap it up and you bring it home to cook.
I know it is different than other places but the sizes of the pizzas are huge and the prices are awesome.
Family Style pizza here in AZ is $12.99. Family style will feed a family of 5 pretty easily. (the one pictured above is only a large and it fed 4 of us two slices each with two pieces left over).
Papa Murphys is giving back to Valley schools too. From now until August through August 31st Papa Murphys are also raising funds for back-to-school supplies for underprivileged Arizona Valley schools. All Family Size Kid’s Favorite Pizzas are specially priced at $9 (reg. $12) and $1 will be donated to Arizona Republic Charities’ Media in Education Technology Grants with every pizza purchased. Each sale of the half cheese and half pepperoni Kid’s Favorite Pizza will help bring computers, iPads, smart boards and other learning tools into classrooms at underserved schools and save families money.
I am sure in the next few weeks there will be a Papa Murphys on our table I hope that you will go too and help schools around the valley.
For one lucky Arizona reader if you enter below you can get one for free along with a pizza peel!
