So this year I have decided to start out with themes each day. That way I have a plan of action! I figure new year… new blog ideas so today I am starting with Meal planning Monday.
I am trying to do freezer meal as well as cook something for each night. I have a MILD pinterest Addiction so I get a lot of my ideas from there. I try to stay somewhat healthy but lets face it we all need a little naughty too. I always say everything in moderation is fine! So some of my meals are really healthy and some not so much!
So this week on my list is:
Monday: Chicken Corden Bleu Cassoroll
Tuesday: Baked Meatballs
Wednesday: Lasagna Soup
Thursday: Tomato Basil Grilled pizza
Friday: Oatmeal cookie Pancakes
Saturday: Left overs
Sunday: Eggs and Bacon Sandwich
***Most of these recipes you can double and have a freezer meal ready to go.
If you do make some freezer meals out of the Meatballs. Do the entire directions except cooking them.
Get a 8×8 pan
put in Aluminum foil in the pan so that it covers the whole pan and sticks out over the top of the pan
Then put Saran Wrap on top the foil. (again enough to cover the whole pan and sticks out over the top of the pan)
add in all the ingredients once you are ready to freeze it.
Put it in the freezer (pan and all) until frozen (or close to it). This will make it flat and not take up too much room in the freezer
Take it out of the pan and put in a zip lock bag with directions of what you need to do when you cook it.
When you are ready to cook it. Take it out and take off the foil and Saran Warp (if the Saran Wrap sticks put in the microwave for about 5 or 10 seconds or so and it will come off easier)
Put back in the same pan you froze it in. Thaw it and then cook it according to the directions!
No I did not think this all up on my own (ha I wish I was that smart) I have had people nice enough to teach me and share what they do or books! I wanted to share with you!
