One of my favorite things to do is finding little unknown stores and support them anyway I can. I just love the story behind a place that started out of a garage with just an idea or someone having a dream for themselves having it take off.  The simplicity of the idea just intrigues me.

Origami owl

That is one reason I love Origami Owl! Yeah it is big now, but how many of you know the roots of the organization?  Here is Bella’s story of why Origami Owl came to be:

In October of 2010, 14 year old Bella wanted to earn enough money to buy a new car! She started selling customizable jewelry and one month later was in a retail store! Feb. of 2011, the decision was made to launch a Direct Sales Division! Origami Owl (also known as O2) is a Direct Sales company that was founded almost 3 years ago. It all started with the dream of a 14 year old girl who wanted to earn enough money to buy a new car! Well, she sure did!! Bella launched Origami Owl in February of 2011 with her mom!

Each piece of Origami Owl jewelry is as unique as the person wearing it. Select from a large variety of Charms, Chains, Plates, Dangles and Tags from our Living Lockets and Tagged Collections to create the perfect representation of your style and story!

Bella said it best herself: “Our mission is to love, inspire and motivate women of all ages to reach their dreams and empower them to make A difference in the lives of others”

Her dream came true and she wants to inspire others to do the same. That is pretty awesome for such a young girl.

What’s your story? Tell me something you dream of doing. If you could what would you want to do with your life?

I am lucky enough to know Rachel who works with Origami Owl and she has been SO generous to let me do a giveaway! Check out her website  here and on her Facebook page here.
